Term 1 Monday 9:30am-12:30
Term 1 Monday 9:30am-12:30
Bush kinder sessions are for children in the kinder years, 3-6 years old.
These drop-off sessions run for 3 hours.
Sessions include sensory experiences, physical challenges, nature craft, exploration, bushwalking and lots of time for unstructured play. We will also include simple bushcraft activities such as cubby building, flora and fauna identification and lots of songs and books. Each session will have a learning focus, loosely guided by the interests of the participants.
Term 1 has 8 sessions beginning Monday 3rd of February. There is no session on March 10 Labour Day. Sessions begin at 9:30am and finish at 12:30. The location is on the Merri Creek in Thornbury, at Egan Reserve.
These sessions are in addition to any formal kinder sessions your child might be doing and are not subsidised by the government in any way. You will need to provide clothing, food, water and sunscreen for your child.
We would prefer you to drop off your child for the duration of the session, however we understand that some children, especially the younger ones may need extra support initially and we will work towards dropping them off!
The price of the term is $400. (This makes a 3 hour drop off session $50)
